Jake Bird was only housed in the Iowa prison system for a very short period if time in the early 1940's. He was tried, executed & buried at the Washington State Prison in Walla Walla. He would have no real spiritual connection to this place. The noose on the wall isn't the one used to hang him but was Charles Noel Brown, the last man executed there.
