Too many cliches in familiar romantic tale
lor_29 July 2019
With Small Hands in the leading role as a budding rock star who goes awry, Quasarman (aka Mike Quasar) gave Wicked Pictures' Passions division the requisite Couples Romance, but didn't work hard enough on his script, brimming with corn.

Hands is backed by Aiden Ashley financially, with his group (featuring Chad Alva and an uncredited Big Chief Quarterblack on drums), but ultimately betrayed by his creepy manager Joanna Angel. Many of the lead players are covered with tattoos, which are a bit distracting but clearly related to the musical world covered here.

When he gets a big contract and hit album going, Hands is presented with a mansion to live in, the "Immoral Proposal" mansion used for perhaps a thousand porn shoots by now. The love story with Ashley is central but supporting ladies Whitney Wright (as Alva's girlfriend), busty Kenzie Taylor and Kissa Sins help brighten up the XXX content.

The rise and fall of a pop star is one of cinema's most travelled story lines, c.f., A Star Is Born, and this version proves to be a yawner.
