Movie is about the pursuit of an aspiring filmmaker named Shibu. He goes through varying experiences right from his training days at a film institute, to the time he tries his hand at filmmaking.
A few unusual incidents that happen in Shibu's life lands him in trouble. Whether he manages to come out of this complicated situation forms the rest of the story.
In the first half of the film, the struggles that the central character goes through make an impact, and the protagonist takes along the audience, in his journey.
Storytelling of the movie is layered with strong emotions and light hearted comedy.
It's really worth watching.

Dumb movie with great climax

This is one of the dumbest movie. And first half even made you think like are you watching a low budget short film. Very irritating cast and story.But after first half the herion arrives and since she's beautiful and acts better than all other cast would make you watch the movie further more. Here comes the climax which is like literally blistering would make you awestruck. it's like a 50 years old scooter gets a whole new KTM bikes handle. You will rewind the whole movie in your head several time after climax. Any way if the whole story would have developed as climax it would make it a one time watchable flick. Watch it if you have no movies to watch my rating 3/10 (3 for climax and 0 for other part of movie.)

Perhaps the romantic song at the start, the colourful poster, and the sampling of the point that sometimes negative publicity can help you be found should have made Shibu (given Malayalam name) a watchable comedy but it isn't. TN.

Shibu was always smitten by the world of filmmaking, his father works at a theatre as film Projectionist , used to take him along for the movies of his favourite Dileep. He is ambitious to become a filmmaker watching comedy entertainer films of Dileep and went on to learn the craft at an institute.
His dreams, however, pose a threat to his love life. But Shibu is determined and keep trying to prove to the world what he is capable of. Then an unlikely incident lands him in a Big trouble. As he proceeds to solve the puzzle, he meets Kalyani, a doctor, who becomes part of the unfolding of a few crazy events.
The film, directed by Arjun Prabhakaran and Gokul Ramakrishnan, has newcomer Karthik Ramakrishnan as Shibu and Anju Kurian as Kalyani, and supporting cast consist of actors such as Lukman Avaran, Salim Kumar, Kochu Preman, Vinod Kovoor, Biju kuttan, Unni Rajan P dev etc . The central characters gives charismatic performance. The storyline leave an impact on the audience, when the hero finally succeeded in his life.

I really enjoyed watching Shibu. Movies has an interesting story line. Onscreen Chemistry between lead pair Anju Kurian and Karthik is nice. Really loved the songs and its visualisation. And the unexpected climax twist makes it more memorable. Overall shibu is worth watching

Shibu is a good romantic comedy film which has done justice to its plot. I really enjoyed the comedy scenes and beautiful melodious songs which supported the narration of the movie..overall its an above avarege experience .
