It took me a long time to get into this show. But It seems like it has finally found its stride as the writing feels less forced. This time Darby reunites with Augie for a second chance at love. This was a smart choice as one weakness of the show is introducing a new love interest in each episode makes it hard to connect to the new characters. However, since we already know Augie and that he and Darby are friends, it makes sense that they would try again. After all, Augie is the only one that I really felt had chemistry with Darby. Also, I like the idea that some people aren't just meant to be together because they want different things in life, and that's okay. Lastly, Anna's acting was amazing. She is so good at displaying a wide range of emotions, and for the first time, I really felt emotionally invested in her story. Those last 15-20 minutes is possibly some of her best acting.

The penultimate episode of Love Life sees Darby concentrating on her career as an art curator. A love life is a distant second.
Darby's relationship with her mother has improved and she is talking more with her mother.

Augie has come round again to Darby's life, he has left a permanent reminder but he will not be there for the long run.
There is something about Darby and Augie that works in the short term. They make sparks fly but they are not destined to remain together.
Love Life seems to be doing well in showing how relationships shift about, for better or worse.
