I saw this film at a festival screening in Los Angeles, and virtually laughed myself out of my chair.
Reminded me a bit of FULL MONTY, in terms of its themes, comedy, and heart.
Other notes:
-- there's a very funny scene in which the protagonist and his buddies engage in some odd Icelandic sport.
-- there a damn fine sex scene, that's both erotic and hilarious
-- the car salesman sequences rival those in FARGO
-- this director should have a great career
