Plot Summary

April Saunders is a divorced mother and a full time storm chaser. The weather is both her career and her full time obsession. Everything else in her life takes second place including her daughter, Rachel, and her brother, Sean. The 1-Across clue is: "You're Still the One" singer. Its answer is "Shania Twain", which correctly fills in all eleven letters of 1-Across. Goofs Several times during the movie, the brother is referred to as "Sheriff Saunders". The actor is wearing the uniform of a Washington State Trooper, and although the insignia on his epaulets are upside down (sign of a filmed in Canada movie) they indicate he holds the rank of Sergeant.
