This show is not about anything other than glorifying smart kids at the expense of (obviously carefully chosen) stupid adults. Americans are suckers for preternaturally smart kids. They're in virtually every U.S. TV show that ever existed. This one feels utterly fake, as the adults are stupid and the kids are both over-eager and over-acting. But I'm sure their parents are ecstatic. And I'm sure they're paid a bundle, too. Call me cynical.
How come Americans are so smart as kids and grow up to be dumber and dumber? Sigh.
Like I said, awful. Like most shows it wastes a lot of time on glamor, applause, self-advertising, horrid theme songs, etc. It's insufferable. Like all the rest. TV rots your brain. It's a waste of life. Go online instead and learn something. Read, don't just watch.
