Barnabas sees the Parallel Time Room, PT Daphne is speaking with Catherine, she tells of a lottery where a Collins is chosen to in a room. Everyone there has died or gone insane. PT Quentin enters. We find out he just got out of jail for manslaughter.
Barnabas finds out Quentin is recaptured. He visits him in his cell. Trask enters and gloats about the execution is ready to take place.
In the best scene, Barnabas confronts Angelique and asks for her help in saving Quentin. She does not appear to want to, she says she loves him but he says he cannot love her.
Later Angelique decides to help by using a voodoo doll of Gerard. He feels the pain of the needles and finds her in the drawing room.
