Things have come to a head lately on many fronts all at once. Actor Louis Edmonds' (Best known as Roger Collins in earlier episodes) plays his latest character,"Daniel"? ,who is sickly and soon dies after some hocus-pocus with his will. It's not like "Daniel" had an easy choice who to put in the will. One son Quentin is in prison for murder, the other son Gabriel has been faking paralysis and living in a wheelchair for years while others have been waiting on him hand and foot and attending to his every wish and whim..
Daniel finds out about the fake-paralysis act during a heated exchange with Gabriel and Daniel has a fit, yelling at Gabriel until a weakened Daniel passes-out!
"Daniel" leaves the estate to a third party unless or until Quentin gets cleared of the murder charge,in an odd arrangement that seems pretty unethical,as the third party seems to be representing Quentin in court on the murder charge (if I understand it correctly).
Somehow another vile member of the Trask family is milling about the Collins estate, doing what the phony Trask family of fake preachers do. What is that? Usually nothing good. All of the Trask characters are pretty much interchangeable as they are all rotten dishonest opportunistic people that pretend to be holy and somehow have a hold of some kind on the Collins family. It is maddening to watch these Trask characters hang around Collinwood and seemingly do nothing but cause problems, sew dissension and conflict amongst the already-troubled family while the family members never quite seem to notice.. Anyhow,it is a busy and great episode!
