At the police station, Quentin is being questioned by Constable Jim Ward. He lets Quentin go home while the investigation goes on.
Quentin arrives at Collinwood and Samantha demands to know why he killed her brother. Quentin professes his innocence.
Ward questions both Gabriel and Samantha, he then goes to Quentin in the drawing room and places him under arrest for murder.
