At the old house, Daphne talks of 1840 and how the Quentin then was much more aggressive than the one she knows now. Quentin arrives and tells Julia Stokes has left for Europe, she is puzzled since 1970 Stokes said he had no plans but 1995 Stokes said he did go to Europe.
In the best scene, Tad and Carrie take refuge in an old crypt, they hide and see the cloaked vampire rise from the coffin. Later they find a man in woods, attacked by a vampire. They remember similar things happened in 1840.
At the old house, Julia hypnotizes Daphne with her medallion, once again using the line "find the center". When Daphne is in the trance, she says she herself will be the murder victim and Rose Cottage will be destroyed that night.
