The last few episodes has given more complexities to Vincent.
Thinking they are nearer to free portion of France. Vincent once again becomes suspicious of Nina. She is behaving oddly, maybe a counter agent deliberately sabotaging their mission.
Nina gets them into trouble with a pair of jumped up milice operatives when she drops her identity papers. Vincent and Jimmy end up having to shoot them dead.
In each turn there are more Germans about, like there is a leak. The arrival of Sergeant Adler from German military intelligence, puts more pressure on the trio. He wants to find out who killed the milice.
Adler uses deduction to track their moves. Vincent becomes even more paranoid, even wanting to kill Nina if she slows them down.
Once again I find the episode to be laughable at times. A mixture of good and bad. The car trying to crash through the barriers was bad.
On the other hand the actors and their doubles attempting to cross the river and evade the Nazis was well staged. It was done in broad daylight.
As for Nina, she managed to have a get out clause. The increase in Nazi activity was because of a full scale invasion of France. The trio are even further away from free France.
