He was a skater boi, she said see you later boi, he wasn't good enough for her... but Dan Morgan is certainly good enough for us

Fairly standard episode of the long running ITV police drama apart from one important addition: Dan Morgan. This bright young actor gives an absolute powerhouse performance, perfectly encapsulating a disenfranchised "skater boi". You really believe him when he says we wasn't anywhere near Dismond Street where the car got stolen and that he was playing a skateboarding game at home. You are then shocked to discover that he was in fact there, and that surprise turns to delight when you realise you were fooled due to some nuanced and subtle acting. The performance brings to mind a young Robert DeNiro, and there is a sly playfulness in his interactions with police officers Tony Stamper and Reg Hollis. While small in physical stature (a deliberate choice?), this young man stands tall in ability and talent.
