Bill and Jo begin planning what to do going forward, but not before they've had a decadent dinner.
Part three has a feel of Survivors about it, it doesn't have the punchy horror vibe of the first two episodes, but it's still a solid episode. This feels like the part where things are starting to look incredibly bleak for everyone.
Only in the 1980's would Jo dress herself up in a sparkly evening frock, do her hair and makeup to have an evening meal among the carnage and terror of present day events.
That scene jarred somewhat, and at times the music does to, you have some sparkly, twinkly music rubbing against some pretty nasty scenes.
The Triffids themselves are now beginning to cause real havoc for people, they are creepy and menacing. They really would have been the stuff of nightmares.
7/10.
