This episode is a bit dull but an intriguing ending, hopefully it will pick up again.
Judith stops Quentin from threatening Barnabas with the sword. After everything calms down, Barnabas says he wishes to live in the old house, just a rehash of what happened when he arrived in the 1967 time period.
Barnabas later meets Beth in the woods, after introducing himself, he asks about the children in the house, Jamison and Nora. He also asks about a third child, Beth says there is no other, which opens up some questions for later. We get another vampire attack scene, when Barnabas bites a woman at the docks.
Quentin notices Beth is bringing a tray upstairs to Grandmama, Judith is up there with her grandmother and sends Beth somewhere else with the tray, which may be part of the family secret. Quentin later comes in while Edith is alone and demands she tell the secret before she dies.
