A decent episode.

A man is pulled out of the Thames, in possession of a valuable accumulator slip, there are one or two suspects, Don Beech is on the case.

It's a good solid episode, not particularly dynamic or exciting, and slightly pedestrian, it does have some good elements, including a clash between Beech and Monroe, plus some very good characters. If you're a fan of the horses, you may enjoy the story a little more than I did.

Charon Bourke is the standout here as Rosemary Roberts, she will have been well known to millions as Reg Wexford's stroppy daughter Sylvia. It is of course the familiar face of Jason Watkins that people will know very well, it's amazing, he'd hardly changed at all in twenty years.

It's a whodunnit of sorts, just a little slow.

A solid watch, 6/10.
