Baldy plays Treasure Hunt!
Rabical-915 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This edition starts off with Baldy trying to clear some wax from his ear with a cotton bud, however he jams it in too far and ends up forcing the wax through the middle of his head and through his other ear, where it slides out like a worm!

After this we are onto 'Goldrush'. Baldy, with the aid of a metal detector, takes to the beach in search of buried treasure. All he seems to find is junk, for instance, a shopping trolley! Things get even worse when he unearths an unexploded bomb from W. W.2!

Not much happens here, and what does happen is too predictable to be particularly funny. One of the plus points is the sight of Sally Howitt larking around the beach in a bikini!

Funniest bit - Baldy being constantly struck on the head with a boomerang!

In 'God', we see Baldy trying to enjoy a weekend at the camping site. He tries relaxing by painting near a stream but is constantly harrassed by a stray sheep and when he tries to shoo it away he ends up looking as though he is about to get into a compromising position with the animal, drawing the attention of the other campers. Later, whilst asleep, Baldy has a nightmare that the other campers are a religious tribe who plan to crucify him until they discover he is the God of their religion!

Again, 'God' is a pretty boring effort, hampered with too many telegraphed punchlines. The dream sequence for a start is drawn out too long. Thankfully, the rest of the series is of far higher quality.

Funniest bit - Baldy trying vainly to fend off the amarous advances of the sheep.

After the end credits is a small sketch with Baldy holding a meeting with other baldies. Peter Stringfellow enters to join the meeting, however the others are not welcoming towards him, until he removes his mullet wig to reveal he has a comb over like the rest of them!
