Outstanding show! Excellent content, fun, witty, playful. Lots of seasons and13 episodes per season all lasting approximately 1.5 hours. A very wholesome show. Would have hiven 10 stars, but because of the age its not a very clear picture. Still very enjoyable.

Why didn't Lovejoy fire Eric
ArtVandelayImporterExporter29 December 2023
Part II of the Highland Fling sees Lovejoy discovering some valuable drawings in an armoire, then returning home to get a valuation.
Whlie he was away, Eric made a bad decision and bought some junk for a thousand pounds from a bird he met in the bar. After a couple of switcheroos he's on the phone trying to flog it. But there's another twist, which I won't reveal because it keeps the Eric part of the plot going.
Meanwhile, back in Scotland again, Lovejoy, Jane and this time, Tinker, are poking around the neo-Classical pigsty.
I think they were going for something neo-Romantic, as in a Sir Walter Scott novel, but I'm not sure it really worked for me. More like a load of tripe.
