I saw the film with the Producer JAYDEE. She explained a few things to me afterwards, but no spoilers. The film is a straightforward love story, with a special difference. I found the set-up believable, and short enough to draw me in immediately. The action flowed smoothly, and with the exception of one of the principals, I found the actors believable. There was even a montage that worked! My main issue was the length of the piece. Yes the story was complete in itself. I really did enjoy the drama. But I felt that the story was compressed to fit the requirements of a short film. Honestly there was enough story, and back-story, and side-story, to flesh out a feature. I would enjoy seeing this film in a longer version, just to see how it holds up. All in all I enjoyed the film. The soundtrack was stunning--great music which perfectly enhanced, or explained, the action on-screen. The cinematography was beautiful--especially since I know all of the locations used--and the lighting/use of light was well done. This is an accomplished short film which deserves to be explored fully as a feature-length film.
