With its shapeless plot and absurd set pieces, 'Killerwatt' seems like an excuse to see appliances turn on people. And that alone makes for an enjoyable episode; it's got action , humor and Slimer in full sidekick mode. This is my first time watching these episodes since the '80s and it's the small details that are amusing. I'd always thought the proton packs being adapted to lugging around equipment (i.e. the ghost trap) started with the 2009 video game (it's functional and makes sense for this show). And it was a nice surprise hearing the original containment unit alarm from the '84 movie. That's an insignificant detail but really helps unite the movie and TV show.
