Hunter Or Hunted?
TangySurfer7 April 2022
Excellent episode. Tetrax's debut was perfectly executed, from his mysterious intro to his reveal. Ben's characterization saw an improvement with him learning to use brain over brawn. Fantastic action and story all throughout as well. Highly recommended for viewing, and the best and most important episode so far aside from EP1.

Chess like strategy

Ben expands his fighting knowledge towards strategy whereas he'd used only brute force prior this episode shows that has the support which allows his intellect and know how to increase his arsenal of weapons this episode also expands the galetic lore and it's much more detailed and concise than most of us remember. The primary importance of this episode is that Ben find out the name of the watch the omnitrix something which he will call it throughout the rest of the series honestly an extremely well versed 20 minutes that expands Grandpa maxes character arch as well as developing a further caring relationship between Ben and Gwen.

Can you escape "The hunt"

Warning: Spoilers
When Vilgax sends three alien bounty hunters - the crustacean-like Kraab, the mechanical assassin Sixsix, and the mysterious Hoverboard - to recover the Omnitrix, Ben learns that simple brute force is not always the best solution to a situation. He also learns that not everything is as it appears when one of the hunters turns out to be from the same race as his Diamondhead form. With some advice from both the unexpected ally and his grandfather, Ben is able to defeat the hunters using his mind to beat them. The alien leaves Ben with the Omnitrix, saying that it's in good hands for now. On Vilgax's ship, Vilgax watches as Hoverboard leaves. He's quite annoyed at the betrayal. His subordinate confirms that the mercenaries do not have the Omnitrix. Vilgax figures that whoever possesses the Omnitrix must be as clever as they are fierce, but is not deterred. He insists that he will not be denied.
