A nicely-pictured Indian subject, containing some good scenic effects. Dark Cloud, known as "The Dog" among his people, turns his son over to white people to be educated. Later the old chief saves the life of his grandson. The close is effective. A pleasing out-door number. - The Moving Picture World, May 22, 1915
