Howard is looking after a friend's dog, Mitzi, Marina gets a miscommunication about who Mitzi is. Meanwhile Auntie has finally caved in over Smiler and Tom's moaning, and has invested in a new company vehicle.
Super sweet, easy viewing, or course it's daft, it's crazily daft, but as always it's amusing and heart warming. You can't help but wonder if Clarke ever had nightmares about coming up with scripts. It's not memorable, but it did cheer me up during a bout of food poisoning.
I did love the scene between Nora and Ivy, the pair reminiscing about a chap from the war, it was a lovely, sentimental scene, one that showed how good these two lovely actresses were. Nora is rocking one incredible hat.
Barry and Glenda do look equally great and awful, they seem almost a little detached from everyone else here.
Sweet, 6/10.
