The Dream Room
Hitchcoc3 February 2017
Edie Grant is off to a weight loss spa, leaving the big guy behind. He decides to do something nice for her. She has always wanted to redecorate the living room, so Lou decides to do it for him. First he gets an army guy who has only done barracks. Mary offers to find him a decorator, but they are really expensive. Because Rhoda has done model rooms at Hempels, Mary asks her to do the work. Of course, she looks at it from her perspective, not Mr. Grant's. He is stuck in the past and not very liberal when it comes to change. What transpires is what one might expect. There is a really funny scene when Lou sees the room for the first time.

Absurd but funny episode
Rrrobert28 July 2019
With his wife away, Lou plans to have an old army buddy redecorate his living room. Then at Mary's suggestion, he has Rhoda do it.

The simple story heaps on absurdist humour and it works really well. Lou is really funny throughout: reminiscing about his army buddy decorator, describing his design preferences, and then there's the reaction to the new room...
