Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Animal cruelty. The titular character keeps a live rabbit jammed in a dangerously small cage whenever not forcing it to perform and continually picks it up by its ears. The rabbit is clearly very agitated by all this and bites. Sensitive viewers may be disturbed by these examples of animal cruelty against the rabbit.

Profanity

  • no profanity b/c characters do not understandably speak

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Severals seconds of drinking, sometimes to obvious drunkness.
  • Considerable period-accurate smoking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Nothing is overtly disturbing, there is no violence or graphic anything, but there are a few odd background moments: A character attempts to hang himself, but is stopped at the last minute. A lot of characters end up depressed and inebriated. Younger viewers may fear for the main characters bunny in a couple of scenes.
  • This is not meant for younger kids due to themes and ideas that younger children may not fully comprehend. Don't let the PG/U classification fool you.
