Very interesting and absorbing

This is a peculiar sort of plot, but has probably been taken from an actual occurrence. A candidate for sheriff denounces a friend for selling liquor to the Indians. The depredator lays himself amendable to the law for the purpose of obtaining money for an operation on his child.
