Glamour Girls

A great film; and was a huge success at the time of release.Films like Glamour Girls put the Nigerian film industry on the map; Nollywood owes this film a lot. The film highlights the fact that life is difficult in Nigeria resulting in a subculture that is replete with corruption and intrigue. There is a subclass of people that thrive on fraud and swindling the unsuspecting victim. The message is clear. Keep your wits about you. Do not be too trusting in people because the quest for money, motivates mischief! Raymond Johnson is not mentioned in the cast; yet he did a fine job portraying Alex. He really has presence and was as smooth as caramel in his portrayal of the deceptive Alex. It is tragic that he is late for he would have been one of the great actors. As for Tony Nworah's review, he was obviously watching a different film!

Just Crap

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is lousy, has no plot, incompetent actors etc, and totally ridiculous and nauseating scene where some white sailors induced black girls to have sex with dog. Just awful.

This was obviously a sexploitation movie and the film makers were obivously trying to test the tolerance of the Nigeria movie audience of sex in movies.

Sadly,it was a big success (mainly because it was daring by those day standards although these days it will be considered tame, and also lack of competition)and spawned another more ridiculous sequel as well as a male gender rip off called Glamour Boys.

Still, the film is crap with no redeeming quality whatsoever.
