When a woman's group dedicated to preserving traditions about the old South checks in, Blanche and Roland have differing feelings about how to prepare for their arrival, including Blanche's insistance of using the Confederate flag. Meanwhile, Rose has issues concerning customers who check in as Mr. and Mrs. Smith and are obviously having an affair.
Well written episode mixes humor with issues still timely, although the subplot with Rose being rude to guests is rather obnoxious. The character of Oliver returns for a cameo, further pointing out how unnecessary he was. Some of the points made by Roland seem rather forced and a bit patronizing, although there are some wise comments about the impact of bigotry.
