A sitcom spin-off is a tricky thing to get right, but John Sullivan (genius that he was) managed to achieve it, by subtly changing the characters of Boycie/Marlene to fit their new location, whilst also keeping enough of them that the audience loved from their 'Only Fools' days intact.
This is another really funny episode, and the 1st series was more of a sitcom/serial than the others that followed, which is nice.
The scene where Boycie 'meets' his new neighbour is probably up there with the funniest moments from across the shows run.
