  Lillian Carlson : [entering the room, and nodding toward the speaker playing the rock 'n' roll music]  Turn that off!

  Bailey Quarters : [sheepishly as she approaches the speaker to turn it off, then burying her head against the wall in shame as Mother Carlson leaves the room]  Yes, ma'am.

  Bailey Quarters : [turning around to face Jennifer, who gives her a disappointed look]  She's not my mother.

• Jennifer Marlowe : [phone rings]  WKRP, soothing sounds for senior citizens. No, this is not the emergency broadcast system. Why are you telling me all this?

  [puts receiver down as if it scalded her] 

  Bailey Quarters : [entering]  Oh, you were right, Jennifer. He didn't even last till noon.

  [hands over money lost on bet] 

  Jennifer Marlowe : Oh, Bailey, I hate to take your money, but...

  [reaches out]
