High-end episode

Warning: Spoilers
This seventh episode undoubtedly stands out as a reference episode, cult. The funniest in this episode it is the vision that Jake the women and more particularly the breasts (true or false), a vision largely influenced by Charlie at the top of his(her) art of the manipulation and the cynicism has. It is very simple every scene(stage) of the episode are funny, incisive with more some new developments timely. Any slow down, a really representative episode of the fact that is this that is disrespectful, hard-hitting series and resting(basing) on numerous dialogs with the little fine humor but nevertheless never really heavy. Simply one of the best episodes of the season and the series.

A decent yet unspectacular episode

First seasons of shows are all about discovery, what works and what doesn't. I don't think this episode totally works.

For one thing it seems a bit thin on plot and jokes. Yes, there are moments, but its an episode that never seems to get going. I never found the Judith character to be that funny either, so an episode that dedicates a lot more time to her was never going to really appeal.

I think the writers quite naturally at this point were still working out what worked in the show, and would come to realise that the real strength of it lie in the dynamic between the three male leads, and not the ex wife character.

A decent but unspectacular episode.
