So, I've reviewed 3 episodes of Teen Titans so far and already I've made a mistake. This review is for episode one of the series instead of episode 3. Now that's out of the way, let's get to the episode.
The story revolves around three super-powerful HIVE kids who are sent by Slade to defeat the Teen Titans. At first they succeed but are eventually defeated by the Teen Titans. This is a pretty standard Heroes vs villains story that isn't helped by the obnoxious kids (especially the incredibly irritating tech kid who looks and acts like a toddler). However, it does create a nice bond between the team and how they need to work together to defeat their foes. Plus, the message Slade wanted gives me memories of the Batman: Arkham City cinematic trailer with Hugo Strange which is fantastic!
Besides that, there's not much more to say. Cyborg's voice actor could've shown a little more misery when grieving over Robin's "death" but he's great every other time.
