Joan returns from a business trip, only to learn that an important business executive has arrived, and worse, she's forgotten to buy Lucy a birthday present. Joan takes full advantage of Graham's generous nature in order to appease her guest.
It's the final episode of the series, and it's not particularly surprising that it didn't return for a second run.
Mildly funny at times, but hardly rip-roaring, it's mainly frustrating as opposed to funny, you wonder why Graham stuck at that job, he should have told her where to go.
Margolyes was pretty funny once again as Maria, again, she should have told a selfish Joan where to go.
Lenska looks so glamorous when she's ready for her night out.
I often wonder where they could have gone with a second series, and I'm not sure there was enough mileage to take it further, I'm glad it ended here.
6/10.
