NOTE: This review spoils the end of the episode
As a person who has never watched anything from Sukeban Deka aside from this episode, I have to say, this was quite interesting, so, with my limited knowledge of this show, I shall review it. The episode starts with some girl going to jail. Then her prison guard (played by Daisuke Ban, the only actor I'm familiar with in this episode) takes her to her cell. She says something to anger him, and he gets so angry that he slapped her across the face multiple times, which slightly shocked me. There's also one part where he was giving the girl her lunch, and when he was giving it to her, he "accidentally" drops it. Then he and all the other prison guards take the girls outside to work. Afterwards, when the girl goes to her cell again, there's another girl that joins her and brings her a rice ball. Then her prison guard takes the girl that joined the other girl and apparently started whipping her. (I'm not exactly sure what he was doing, I watched this with no subtitles, but I'm inferring that he was whipping her due to the guard's grunting, the sound of a whip, and the girl screaming) Finally, the first girl fights the guard, and is about to kill him, but instead of killing him, she tells him to change his ways or he will die. He said he will change his ways, but some other guy threw a needle into the guard's head, and he died. Overall, it was a good episode, but I don't think it was a good episode to introduce me to Sukeban Deka. I still enjoyed it, though.
