You just know it's going to go wrong.

Harold gets offered an incredible deal, a wealthy man in an apartment offers Harold a grand piano. The trouble is he has to remove it, from several flights up. Albert is called in.

This is a classic early episode, and like several from this time, we get to see the pair actually totting. Sadly it's like seeing a kid being offered an enormous lollipop, sometimes a job is just to big.

There are several very funny lines, and amusing moments, the best being where the wealthy owner thinks Harold is abusing his devious dad.

Brian Oulton was very funny as the fussy, wealthy piano owner, familiar from sitcoms and some of the Carry-on films, he did a great line in upper class gentlemen.

Quality comedy. 8/10

Can you play the piano?

One of the funniest so far. When Harold is offered a piano from a wealth man and then made to look lazy by his father. What Harold believes to be an easy job turns out a complete nightmare. Great acting once more with tremendous believability.

The Piano

Warning: Spoilers
The first two episodes had an internal conflict between both father and son. Harold wants to escape home, Albert does not want to be abandoned.

The third episode goes for the more traditional sitcom tropes. Harold is offered to take away a grand piano. It is in good working order, and it is for free.

The wealthy owner has fallen out with his wife and wants rid of it. Unfortunately he lives in the top floor of the apartment.

When Harold later turns up with Albert to take the piano out. It is harder than both imagined. It will simply not slide through the door.

Also Albert turns out to be more of a hindrance. The owner of the house is not impressed to see Harold chastising his dad. Something Albert takes advantage of like getting brandy from the owner.

Moving a piano has some great comedy heritage such as Laurel and Hardy. This does not disappoint as Harold tries to work out the geometry.
