A Glimpse of Clark's (Never Ending) Future
Rcwilkinson12315 November 2007
Warning: Spoilers
A boy who can see the deaths of others through contact arrives in Smallville.

Jordan Cross is a boy who sees the mortal end of others when they physically make contact with them. However, when he touches Clark, all he can see is the eternities sprawled out in front of a billowing, red and yellow cape. Jordan realizes that Clark's life is never-ending, destined to save others. However, everybody else obviously dies in his visions, and this helps Clark stop this from happening. Clark questions if it is his right to cheat death for others, or if he shouldn't tamper with what is meant to happen.

This internal struggle that Clark deals with is very interesting, and the vision that Jordan has of Clark is riveting. One of the series' better episodes.

3x12 - Rewatch (It was about everyone)

Jordan Cross has premonitions of when people are going to die when he touches them. I was ready for him to touch Clark so he could see infinity. I would never want a "power" like Jordan's because it must be a lonely life.

Adam is staring to show his Damon. Lana witnesses his hellish nightmares & Chloe sees his addiction. Lex thinks something is off with Adam so he digs into his past & finds something strange. I am curious to know what is up with Adam because I do not remember what happened.

Chloe is her usual noisy self & Lana is still the annoying naive damsel in distress she always is.

Frightening Power
claudio_carvalho12 May 2006
The new-arrival in Smallville High School Jordan Cross (Joseph Cross) has a frightening ability: when he is touched by another person, he immediately sees how he or she will die. When Clark Kent saves the deranged Coach Altman (Greg Kean) from death, the future of other people changes including Lana Lang's. Meanwhile, Chloe Sullivan finds that Adam Knight is injecting himself, and Lex Luthor investigates his past.

"Hereafter" is a great episode of "Smallville", showing a scary power of the teenager Jordan. Imagine what horrible thing would be to foresee the death of another human being! This episode raises also questions about the mysterious past of Adam, and the fate of Jonathan Kent. My vote is nine.
