Great fun

By its 17th year there's unfortunately more average/below episodes per season than great, but this is very much the show at its best.

Sideshow Bob episodes tend to be good fun (I can't remember any bad ones) and all of the characters here get their moment to be funny, whether it be Mr Burns with his camera, or a drunk Lisa.

My favourite moment has to be the little drunk Italian boy.

A really fun Simpsons episode.

"The Italian Bob" may be the highlight episode of Season 17. (Hence, Sideshow Bob is the featured character on Season 17.) The Simpsons travel to Italy in order to retrieve a car that Mr. Burns had specifically ordered to replace his antique car. While touring the Italy with the ordered car, the Simpsons became lost after an accident. While lost, they found themselves in a Tuscany town. In that town, they again met Sideshow Bob (Bart Simpson's nemesis), now a Mayor and a family man. It appears Sideshow Bob had started a new life in Italy and was peaceful until Lisa Simpson, who was drunk, exposed Sideshow Bob's criminal background. Devastated by the exposure and shunned by the town, Sideshow Bob declared a Vendetta (revenge) against the Simpsons, only this time Lisa opened the old wounds as opposed to Bart. On the run from Sideshow Bob and his family, the Simpsons ran into Kristy the Clown, who was performing an act at the Rome Coliseum. Despite their disguise, the Simpsons were eventually found by Sideshow Bob and his family, who then tried to kill the Simpson family during the act. Fortunately, the Simpsons were saved by Krusty the Clown and then they escaped from the vengeful Sideshow Bob and his family. But the story continues further. 2005

Great. Fantastic. This episode definitely features great and fantastic moments. Furthermore, Sideshow Bob. He's the featured character on the Season 17 DVD.
