Documentary TV maker Monty Wylde (Nick Meaney) thinks he can make a spectacular show if he films the famous Darak'na instead of the usual lions and leopards. To make sure the monster appears, he hires a female kick-boxing champion in disguise. When Sheena interferes to stop her double, things get out of hand, until a war is declared between two tribes. Monty is terrified by this unintended development, but his producer encourages him to carry on because war is great for profit and the audience will love it.
'The Fool Monty' is a great spoof, although it's an exception within the series and one shouldn't go over the top like this every time. An interesting question is why the scriptwriter enjoyed depicting TV makers as lunatics and the producer as pure evil – any personal experience?
