The one that Carrie and Big broke up
Lady_Targaryen8 April 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Miranda was going out with a guy called Thomas Anderson, a up-and- coming New York playwright and things were going great, with the exception that every time, after sex, the guy needed to take a shower ''to purify'' himself. Only after, she discovered that he was a catholic and when he was growing up, the nuns always said to him that sex was a sin. Carrie decides to investigate about the different types of religions and churches, until she finds Mr. Big with his mother in one of them. Samantha falls in love and starts to date with James, a beautiful lawyer who has a big problem: has a very small dick. Charlotte tries to see if she will marry in the future, and when Carrie sees that Mr. Big doesn't consider her special, she breaks up with him.

I like the bits where you can see the boom mic in the shot. I like when that happens

After All the Drama You Do This?!
KatherinePetersdorf1 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I hated this episode. It was the worst one for all of season 1, which is saying a lot because this is one of my top 10 favorite TV shows

Carrie's Part of the episode upset me beyond words. I spent a whole season dealing with all the drama that was Carrie and Mr. Big's relationship and then she dumped him for something so normal. Why would he have her meet his mom before he was ready to marry her or movie in with her?

Miranda's part of the episode made me feel awkward, the way the guy acting during their love scenes made me blush and it is hard to make me blush. It was kind of creepy, I didn't get why she would date such an odd man who was way below her league.

I think that at the end when the relationship between Carrie and Mr. Big ended I was actually happy. It really takes all 6 seasons to fall in love with Mr. Big if you don't like Macho Egocentric men with commitment issues. I felt like Carrie finally had a change to get a real guy and it made me want to keep watching the show.
