Templar becomes suspicious when a noted Dutch diamond cutter denies seeing a gem Simon knows was brought to him; the charming Jane Merrow guest stars in this engaging episode that has some twists, and some snappy dialogue by Simon Templar, especially when Jeremy shows his snobby side. It's a solid entry.

Diamond stealing business in Holland. Templar accompanies guest star Liam Redmond and there are many attempted thefts along the way. Plenty to get your teeth into in this one and a story that never flags.

Story is good, but nothing shot in Amsterdam. Just watched it in 2022, after watching it 51 years ago. Images of city centre correct, everything else is studio.
