This week, our heroes are climbing down into a crypt below an Aztec pyramid. They discover a wall of skulls, and Nigel's guess to its meaning is: Go no further, or you face certain death." Their local guide Carlo is very scared now (a nicely created character with the purpose to make Nigel and Sydney look reckless and professional). Without hesitation, they do go further, avoid traps and find a doll in a small casket. When the ruby eyes of that doll glow, they can kill a man. Some local mercenaries are after that doll, and they stop the train that Sydney and Nigel are on. A chase into the jungle begins...
Average episode without something particularly memorable. The glow of the doll's eyes, created by a red spotlight a technicians turns on and off, tell you again that this TV show is made with special effects from the 1930s, however this 'retro' element is part of the fun in 'Relic Hunter'.
