"So in other words, for Justin to live here with you, he has to deny who he is, what he thinks, and how he feels." ~Brian
This episode of Queer of Folk has it all, including more of the irresistible Brian/Justin scenes. Episode 8 has a couple of really memorable and beautiful scenes between the two of them, and the ending is great. For once, you really start to question whether or not Brian dislikes Justin as much as he tells the others. Instead of appearing as a nuisance, Justin is very sweet and loving toward Brian, trying desperately to make him some dinner and doing everything in his power to please him. Justin's father goes to even higher lengths to get Brian out of Justin's life, but ends up messing things up altogether. Michael also tries desperately to get a promotion at work to pay for his mother's new financial problems while at the same time trying to decide whether or not to tell his coworkers that he's gay. Overall a superb episode with plenty of memorable scenes and the introduction of a few new themes and ideas.
