Several stories again. Central is Joel, fishing on the shore when he hooks a huge fish. There is a legend about a sturgeon who is monstrous, possibly a thousand pounds. Joel is put in a deep sea chair with a huge rod and left there. This is just the start of a sort of allegory. This leads to a pack of rude tourist barging around town. Ruth Anne has enough of them mistreating her store and acting in a mean way. She closes the store, throwing them all out. She then steals Chris's Harley and eventually hooks up with a biker gang. Maurice tries to get the locals to open the store, completely overstepping the bounds of legality. Joel and Maggie also face some realities. In a minor plotline, Holling is intimidated by Chris when it comes to art.
