Kingdom is chasing the mastermind behind a series of robberies, and has a killer to hunt down.
It's a pretty interesting storyline, but I'd suggest that the earlier episodes in this series were more imaginative, and somehow more gritty. It's a good plot, and it's definitely watchable, it's just perhaps become a little repetitive, Kingdom and Ward have been at one another throughout, I feel like they've overdone it somewhat.
Inspector Ward is a dinosaur, even for 1972, I'm interested to see if he's back for the second series, it seems almost impossible for them to continue working together after events here.
Good to see Sheila Fearn in a serious role, she would of course become well known to millions , with her role as Anne in George and Mildred.
A decent end to the first series, perhaps just nothing memorable happens, 6/10.
