Season 5 is one of my least favorite seasons. The show feels more like a daytime soap. And it was clear a lot of actors overstayed their welcome then. First, Jane and Sidney, who completely lost their edge. Then Jake and Alison, who clearly belonged somewhere else. And Matt, whom writers never could handle properly. And of course, Kimberly, whose mental illness couldn't be milked anymore. Living dead Richard, was a stupid storyline. They had so many better choices for it. Like Samantha being the blackmailer, or even Richard having a long lost twin brother. But they've decided to turn the show into a slasher movie, and it was silly. The way he was finally killed off, was even sillier, and I still don't get why Sidney didn't say the money was fake... Amanda is an insufferable shrew, and I'm glad writers decided to make things harder for her with Peter. Like I said, Karma. She even makes Taylor likeable, and I'm dreading the moment she'll be laying her claws on Kyle. Speaking of which, Hunter Tylo, as Taylor? Give me a break. Lisa Rinna may not be Emmy material, but she can act, and was perfect for that part. Poor Billy finally gets the message, and a punch in the stomach. But I honestly prefer him with Sam, at that point. Another thing this season, is the music. There were still good tunes, but some were underwhelming, compared to what is usually heard on the show.
