Lucy feigns illness to attend a big department store sale. When she wins a big store promotion, she tries to prevent Mooney from seeing her picture in the newspaper.
I remembered this one being better than it is, likely because I had it confused with Season 4's "Lucy Bags a Bargain", which is the superior of the two.
The bit with the unbreakable dishes and William Lanteau as the harried salesman is the best part of the episode. Lucy's line "No wonder they're having a sale - everything's broken!" is a real corker! Ms. Ball delivers it with such finesse that you really believe she doesn't realize she's been the proverbial bull-in-a-china-shop.
Has some weak spots, but still an above-average episode for Season 6.
