'He is besmitten with terminal shyness.' It's a, uh, Single Parent's Cruise. (???) Isaac is having hearing problems because of his sinuses. Can he woo Joyce? We haven't seen Kim Darby since disco was in style. She gets interested in a man when she thinks he's a single parent. He'll have to borrow his friend's kid. What could go wrong? Captain Stubing's love interests are starting to skew older. Alice is another psychic. Didn't we just have one? Even for this show, this plot is predictable. What's the point of bringing a tyke on board if they're not going to raise a little hell? I miss Corey Feldman's rages. This is not much. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 2 * out of a possible 4 *.
