The Honeymoon Trick
WalterKafka5 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
'My dad thinks Fleetwood Mac is a hamburger chain!' I hope Julie's hair doesn't stay like for the entire season. David Doyle is here. He's the kind of dad who pressures his son to win. Vicki beats him soundly. How embarassing. Connie Stevens is a mind reader. I got a pyshic sense that her powers aren't real. Jack Gilford is here with new bridfe Nancy Walker. He's worried about the honeymoon! You can't keep Connie away from the Pacific Princess, it seems. This is her 5th of 7 apperances. Charles Siebert is a hairy man, ladies. One at a time. The David Doyle plot reminds me of the episode with the young Facts of Life gymnast. David Doyle is miscast as the demanding dad. It's the 3rd out of 6th appearances for Doyle. This is Nancy Walker's third and last episode. Jack Gilford would be arrested for his behavior today. This episode isn't much. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 2 * out of a possible 5 *.
