Excess Pt 2: The Return of the Son of Excess
WalterKafka14 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Excess! You say you want excess! IMDB Says the first part aired in May and the second aired in October. Is that true? I'll assume it's not. (I assume everything on the Internet is a lie) Anyway, you've waited, uh, 5 months or 5 minutes, so here's the conclusion. Julie is feeling down about her aging looks. That sounds about right. 'You're anything but plain,' Doc says. Luckily, a nerd sweeps her away. Her friend asks her to take her place on the runway. One more strut for Julie! Once again, I'm taken with Debra Clinger. She could be in my fashion show. At one point, Clinger and Hallibrand make their decision in the 'Window Room.' Robert Vaughn is so smooth. He's about to land Morgan Brittany. We get a long, long fashion show. (A good excuse to go get a burrito.) I liked seeing more of Tina. Dick Shawn makes funny faces. Bobby Short sings a song. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this overstuffed double-length episode gets 2 1/2 * out of a possible 4 *.
