And that's the way it's done!

The Lone Ranger has only been born, but he's already making quite a reputation for himself. After all of Calvender's men come back and rescue him, Tonto has little luck in town to get some help. But the Lone Ranger has a plan - one that's pretty ingenious, if you ask me!

I won't give the details to this plan away, but I will say that it was exciting to watch him almost single-handedly catch all the men of the large gang.

The Lone Ranger has enough power that he can even influence the town sheriff to do things his way. His quick eye and quick mind help him and the sheriff save the day!

Hi ho silver...and away!

The Whole Kit 'n' Caboodle

This ends the third offering which is often the third part of a movie. Here, things are set up to take care of the Cavendish gang. The Ranger and Tonto walk softly, with great patience. Cavendish is a cold blooded killer, but there is little blood shed during classic TV westerns. We are given the foundation early on and now the plan is executed. One complaint. There is a lot gunfire during the final capture. They must have been aiming at someone and there should really have been some victims.

The third episode of the series ends the saga of how Texas Ranger John Reid became The Lone Ranger. He and Tonto use brains and skill to help the sheriff and doctor to fight the Cavendish gang. The viewer learns that he will continue to wear the mask and keep his identity a secret while fighting crime in the old west. Also note that The Ranger wears only one gun in these opening episodes. It's Butch Cavendish (Glenn Strange) who is the first person to ever ask the famous question, "Who is that masked man?"
